Filters is collaborating with Salalah Methanol Company on the Salalah Methanol Project.
The facility’s commercial production started in May 2010. Less than three years later, the chemical plant had achieved three million tonnes of methanol production: a world-class performance for a new plant.
The plant’s key features include sea water intake, captive power generation, captive water desalination, auxiliary steam generation, nitrogen generation, product handling through a product loading facility at Port of Salalah, effluent & sewage treatment facilities
The plant can, on average, produce 3.000 tonnes of methanol per day.
