Filters® is collaborating with Maersk Oil on the redevelopment of the Tyra Platform, offshore Denmark, which provides around 90% of the country’s domestic request.
The field, discovered in 1968, started its activity in 1984. In thirty years, the platforms have sunk by 5 meters because of the subsiding of the chalk reservoir.
The redevelopment will bring about the construction of a single processing platform and of a new accommodating platform. The jackets of the wellhead platforms and riser platforms will be extended by 20 meters and there will be new topsides.
The field is expected to produce around 60,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day. Around two thirds will be gas, the rest oil.
